We had a terrific half day morning charter for my 50th with good mates. William Park was our captain for the day and made the whole experience amazing with his deep knowledge of the area and professional seamanship. Despite a fairly windy day, our trip felt calm and comfortable aboard 'Sundancer' and William put us straight onto the fish. Highly recommend Hooked on Barrier as your go-to for a Great Barrier Island fishing charter. Thank you William and the Hooked on Barrier team....till next time!

Had a great day out with Chris on Hooked with Barrier. I was with 8 colleagues and customers where we went out for an all day fishing season. Chris was very knowledgeable and dropped us on some great spots where we caught plenty of snapper and travelli. His carrot cake for morning tea is well known island wide and the spread for lunch was great. Thanks for a great day out Chris we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had an amazing day with Captain Chris exploring around Great Barrier and the Broken islands. His knowledge of the area was excellent and we anchored in different areas and had time for a swim. The Carrot cake he made was delicious along with an excellent lunch and coffee throughout the day. I would highly recommend this trip and a highlight for our time on Great Barrier Island.

We had a large group head out for a whole day experience, the sea wasn’t too flash so Chris adapted the day for us to suit our group. We had the first half of the day fishing for the guys and the second sightseeing for the whole group and the kids. The kids loved the snapper we could feed directly off the boat and the kayaking and paddle boarding! Chris was fantastic, very knowledgeable and happy to help is any way possible. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Barrier!

Fabulous day out on the boat with Chris. Started the morning with tea and homemade carrot cake(delicious). Our trip took us along the coast to see the Gannet Colony, all the islands and a stop to buy honey from one of the locals. On our way back Chris spotted the dolphins and took us right in and we had an amazing experience. 10 out of 10
